We’ve got a few happenings to close out the second half of the month and welcome spring to town.
Friday the 24th, 5PM we tap into a keg of Cloudburst Soul Proprietor IPA. This special juicy IPA was brewed exclusively for the finest bottleshops in the Puget Sound region known as the BCP (Bottleshop Collaboration Project). We will not be filing growlers as this is super limited. Stop by after 5 to enjoy a couple pints till it’s gone.
Saturday the 25th, 10AM. Holy Mountain Brouwer’s Cafe anniversary beer release (Vol. 12). We will open an hour early to help celebrate the lovely Brouwer’s Cafe turning 12. We will celebrate by releasing their newest anniversary beer made by the fine folks at Holy Mountain. As Brouwer’s doesn’t have the ability to sell bottles to go, this we be the only chance to purchase bottles to take home. You will be able to enjoy bottles at Brouwer’s and also on draft for their anniversary party the same day (starting at noon). We have 50 cases for sale. Bottles will be $20 with a 3 bottle per person limit. We will be opening at 10 (an hour early) for the sale but will not be pouring draft until noon. We will not have Vol. 12 on draft, so you will have to venture down to Brouwer’s to enjoy that. As we expect a line for this release, we will have an employee at the door making sure only a few people are in the store at once. However, we will have 2 registers open upfront to hopefully speedily process everyone. We don’t have a parking lot so please don’t park in the QFC lot (they can ticket you) and also please be respectful if you are here waiting in line. 45th is a well traveled corridor so please don’t impede on folks ability to walk/drive/go about their business and please don’t drink/bottleshare while you wait in line. It brings unwanted heat to our business that we certainly don’t need. Be good citizens. We will be trying our very best to get everyone in and out as quick as possible and will also try to update via social media when we get low/run out of bottles.
Friday the 31st. Seapine Brewing Maibock launch party. We will be tapping a bunch of kegs from our friends at Seapine including their seasonal Alpenhammer Maibock. Steven Trumbull Little from Seapine brewing will be here to celebrate. Drop by, bring a growler, and enjoy a few pints, and maybe win a prize.
Friday, March 10th, 5PM-close. We will have Scott Travis from pFriem here and a bunch of rad beers on draft. We will be pouring their brand new Barrel-Aged Oude Bruin and have bottles of it for sale along with 5 other assorted offerings on draft.

Join us Thursday, February 23rd to help celebrate our 18th Anniversary. We will have a killer draft line-up featuring both some prior years anniversary beers as well as some other gems. This years anniversary beer release will not be ready until around May (we are aiming for Seattle Beer Week). It was brewed a while ago by our friend Paul down at Ale Apothecary. It then rested in barrels until last November when it was bottled. This naturally refermented beer is now peacefully conditioning in bottles. So, we will have a beer to release, it just won’t be the normal end of February time frame. We are throwing a party anyway because we are still turning 18 and who doesn’t love a party? So stop by anytime on the 23rd. We will likely have cake at some point, open fun bottles to share at others, tap a cask of something sessionable, and will have delicious beers on draft all-day. On top of all that, we will have 10% off all bottles and cans to go.
We will be closed Tuesday, Jan 10th, for an employee outing but we will re-open Wednesday normal hours.
Christmas Eve we will likely be closing early, say 7-8.
We will be closed on Christmas Day but back open the 26th normal hours.
New Years Eve we also will likely close a touch early, likely 9pm.
We will be closed for inventory all day New Years Day but back open normal hours on the 2nd.
The start of November brings our Internationally recognized Hand Turkey Contest. Bring your hand turkeys by or drop in and make one as you drink drink a pint. All entries will be displayed behind the bar. Entries must be in before Thanksgiving. Winner takes all contest with top turkey winning a prize.
Saturday 5th, 1PM. Finnriver Sour Plum Cyser release. This cider will be the second in a series we have made with Finnriver Cidery. Last years Country Peach release was so tasty we made the trip out again. This time the product is a mixed-fermentation cider with honey and sour plums. Brouwer’s Cafe will have it on draft to try and meet Andrew, the cidermaker and bottles will be available starting at 1.
Saturday 12th, Noon-2. Chimay. Drop by to meet the new rep for Chimay. Although most folks have tried the full lineup of Chimay’s Trappist ales, it’s always a good time to revisit them.
Friday 18th. 4PM. Seapine Cask night. The fine folks at Seapine brewing will be debuting this years batch of Skipine Bombhole Winter Ale with a cask on our bar. Taps at 4 and lasts till the cask runs dry.
We will be closed Thanksgiving Day as always but open all day the Wednesday before and the Friday after.
This Friday, Sept 30th from 5-9 we will be throwing a New Belgium Le Terroir sour party. On draft and available in bottles will be New Belgium’s always popular Le Terroir dry-hopped sour. We will also have 2 other very special beers on draft and who knows, maybe a fun bottle or two will get opened? Stop by for a jolly time.
Friday, Sept. 16th from 5-9pm we are celebrating our good friends from Fort George Brewery. They recently brewed up their one-thousanth batch of beer. To celebrate, they decided to make a Double IPA (shocking). We are getting 1 of 2 kegs available in Washington. Keg taps right at 5 along with some other Fort George rarities on draft. Bring a party hat.
