If throwing coconut into beers and selling imperial barrel aged dark adjunct beers in the beginning of summer sounds crazy, then hold my beer. Inspired by the Sunshine State, this is a coconut dark mild ale blended with an imperial stout aged in Heritage whiskey barrels for two years. The coconut is subtle, yet the whiskey is surprisingly present for a beer at only 4.9%. We’re coining this new style a “Floridian Mild”. It’s incredibly drinkable, and absolutely awesome. Don’t cellar this beer – drink it fresh!
