100% Cabernet Franc dry rosé, hand-picked and vinified for rosé from sustainably-farmed grapes. Own-rooted vines are grown on deep loess soils at 900-1100ft of elevation. Grapes were hand-picked, crushed under foot in traditional fashion. Natural salmon color derived from 7 hours of skin contact. Fermentation initiated with wild yeast in neutral French oak barrels and underwent spontaneous malolactic conversion. Bottled unfiltered.
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
Fresh cut flowers on the nose with crunchy red fruits, white grapefruit and exotic tropicalia coming through. Flavors intensify on the palate and finish with stoney minerality and slight grapefruit pith. A full-bodied rosé with elegance and grace. Great with a myriad of foods.
