We reached out to our friends at Upper Reach Meadery to lend assistance in their rebuilding efforts after the terrible floods in September. We concocted this stout with a combination of British and American malts, then added maple syrup and honey to the secondary fermentation. Post fermentation we hit with a more chocolate, hazelnuts, and marshmallow. All 5 flavors blend into a true dessert stout experience. We will be donating all profits from the sale of Phoenix Rising to Upper Reach’s rebuilding efforts, and thank you all for the support you’ve shown as they continue to regain their footing.
