For seventeen years we have strived to create and share great beer experiences, promote teaching and learning, and better ourselves through our community and world. In honor of those years, we present our anniversary ale. Brewed in early 2021, this triple mash, fourteen-hour boil stout, affectionately known to us as Free Your Soul; was laid to rest in Barton 1792 High-rye Whiskey and Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon barrels. After aging for 30 months, we blended our anniversary beer at the height of flavor and aroma. Pouring jet black, with an intense brown lacing, Seventeen emits notes of bakers chocolate, vanilla, coconut and a subtle rye spiciness. Seventeen is a celebration of all the people, places and times of being that have gotten us to where we are today. For that we raise our glass and say thank you.
