For our first Pathways release in years, we took a few three year
old barrels that had been maturing over a grip of 2017 harvest
gewürztraminer, and blended them and a single, slightly younger
barrel over 2020 harvest müller-thurgau. This varietal duo gives
the Pathways wonderful depth, with floral and grassy notes
driving the profile over a classic strong saison anchor. With both
fermentation and fruit-based acidity to offset the rich, dry beer,
this well cellared batch is bold and ready to sip and enjoy.
