While harvest is winding down for many, we’re taking a break to look back at 6 Years of Varietal with a new, West Coast anniversary IPA: TRELLISHEAD. It’s been a long and stressful year and we didn’t have an anniversary party or beer release in July like we usually would.
So let’s summarize the year and the 5 previous years with a big 7.3% West Coast IPA brewed with Cold Stream Malt Brewers Select pils and cashup wheat malt grown in the Palouse, then hopped hot-side with Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade, & Citra before a dry-hopping of Cascade, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, & Columbus Cryo. It’s the kind of WCIPA we enjoy, all funky & fruity with a nice bite of bitterness in the finish.
