Named after the debut album by my industrial heros Einstürzende Neubauten, this beer is really slapping hard with this summer weather. So I’ve been keeping up really well with my buddy Bryan from Pfriem (who worked with me at Chuckanut way back when) and we’re still crazy about Kölsch. He did a deep dive on it and read the transcript of the Kölsch convention. Needless to say, the Pfriem and Wayfinder Kölsch just got a whole lot more Kölsch-y. I wanted to make the Wayfinder one a bit different and focused lightly on a newer hop variety called Callista. It’s a German noble hop but has a distinct fruity-lemon thing that I really adore.
