Jim was a renaissance man who paid his way through Yale by selling stereos of dubious origin. When he moved west and started a family he got a real job and a sailboat — The Elizabeth P. Roasty with prominent barrel character, “Voyage of the Elizabeth P.” is a classic imperial stout that sings with vanilla and dark spiced chocolate notes thanks to a couple extra special Maker’s Mark barrels.
