Our opinion: what a great discovery this is! The small estate (six hectares) of Isabelle and Jérémy Decoster Coiffier, in Bugey, is a mine of pretty canons. Working organically, avoiding inputs, apart from, if necessary, sulfur in minimal doses, they produce very pure and fresh wines. Uzée is made from 70% Gamay and 30% Mondeuse, aged in vats and demi-muids for nine months. It is a delicious, fresh wine, with a lovely structure, a certain elegance, which will keep for around ten years. ‘years.
